Our Programs & Classes
Students and enthusiasts of martial arts have many reasons for their interest in the martial arts. Some are drawn to the physical fitness and weight-loss aspects of training, others seek to add discipline and self control to their lives, and others are concerned about safety and self-defense. Whether you are interested in our programs for mental or physical well-being, Woodinville Martial Arts offers a number of programs that will fit your developmental needs and your busy schedule.

Little Dragons (Ages 5 to 8)
For the young warriors at heart, the Little Dragons class emphasizes listening, following directions, and
building a solid foundation. An excellent way to improve coordination, concentration and attention span.
These classes are very disciplined but fun.

Children (Ages 8 to 12)
The Children class introduces the importance of setting and meeting goals, working with others and
self-motivation. Honesty, respect for self and others, and taking responsibility for their actions are
continually emphasized. Strong and clean techniques lay the foundation for their future as a Martial
Artist.

Teenagers (Ages 12 to 16)
The Teenager program is a physically demanding class that teaches the importance of hard work,
discipline, and self-control. It is vital for teens to develop respect for themselves, confidence, and
the self-esteem needed to make difficult decisions as they deal with the daily pressures of growing
into adulthood.

Adult (Ages 16 and up)
The training for adults emphasizes the harmony between mind and body in the martial arts. Practical
self-defense, personal growth, and individual expression are equally developed with passion and
purpose. There is a large focus on our founding principles of Honor, Unity, and Service, as well as
respect for self and others.

Kids After School Program
The Kids After School Program is a great convenience for our working parents. Our courtesy van
picks up the kids at school and brings them directly to the academy where they will have adult-supervised
homework and fun time before and after they participate in their martial arts class. Parents can pick up
the kids as late as 6:30pm! A great opportunity for the kids to make new friends, get their homework done,
and reap the many benefits of martial arts.
