Woodinville Martial Arts
Mission Statement

Since 1997, the Woodinville Martial Arts Academy has been serving the great city of Woodinville and its neighboring communities with the gift of martial arts.  Our passion is to provide students of all ages and skill levels with the powerful benefits of the martial arts.

Our approach is to teach with passion and enthusiasm coupled with discipline and structure, fostering in our students the traditional values and morals set by the martial arts throughout the centuries.  We have proven over time that we help our students grow, become more confident in their daily lives, and achieve valuable leadership skills.  Thus our motto:

"Building Confident Leaders"

A message from Master Instructor McCarter:

If you are looking for a safe and professional way to better yourself through the martial arts, our programs can meet the challenge of making YOU a true and confident martial artist!

Our martial arts system is our own unique blend of different martial arts styles, training methods and philosophies, what we like to call "TaeKwonDo Plus".  Students are taught two systems that blend harmoniously into one art.

The first system, hand and foot defense, teaches striking and joint locks taken from TaeKwonDo, Hapkido, American Kenpo and other arts.  The second is a weapon-based system that draws from Korean, Okinawan, Chinese, Filipino, Western, European and many other weapon based arts.

These two systems combine to form a balanced art that is equally unique and expressive while practical and adaptable.

Come watch a class!  We look forward to meeting you.
